Rebecca Combs has a passion for food, travel and spirits! But is far from normal in her presentation.

Born and raised in Dallas, TX, she graduated from The University of North Texas in Denton with a degree in Radio, TV, & Film. She soon began hosting her own baking segment on The CW 33’s national morning show, “Eye Opener” called “Outside the Box”. She has also done live cooking demos for local television stations such as, Fox 4 Good Day, WFAA Good Morning Texas, and The Broadcast. You can catch “Spirited Cooking” on Eye Opener in the mornings.

Rebecca has always had a passion for travel. From the UK, France, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, and Italy – Rebecca is always exploring other cultures, people, and (of course) food. She is always finding fun recipes, putting her own unique twist on them, and sharing them with her friends and family.

What Rebecca loves most about food is how it brings people together. She learned that at a young age while she was in the kitchen with her mom. Growing up, her and her family would have themed dinners and movie nights. She began learning from her mom at a young age how to cook and bake. In college, Rebecca and her friends would host “family dinners” – family style meals with all of her friends in the dorm. For Rebecca, food is about bringing people together, sharing experiences, and just having fun! No matter where you are from, what language you speak, or what you do for a living, we all have to eat – might as well get in the spirit and enjoy it!
